“Pretty little tragedy”

There is nothing quite so enchanting or pathetic,

As a pretty little tragedy,

The boys got a winning smile and his heart is prosthetic,

Mercilessly he robs innocent lips of all chastity,

Doe eyes fill with tears and she loves him still,

Ravished in kisses that bruise ivory skin beautiful violet,

All the while she bites out her tongue like a suicide pill,

She softly sucks his fingers like a commoner to a tyrant,

Convinced she’d be nothing if he left, All the while unaware

He is afflicted by just how much he needs the girl,

Violent tongue lashings that scream horrid misunderstandings,

Put tears on her pretty face and fear where his heart once was,

One look in her eyes and there’s a revolution in his twisted world,

Sickened by the way he longs, needs, yearns for her loving touch,

His body grieves for the damage he’s done, the pain he’s caused, the trust he’s lost,

Her silence always proves reprimanding,

And he never meant to hurt her just to own her and keep her,

Touches meant to be loving serve only as branding,

She’s so damn fragile,

He’s losing his mind wondering why she doesn't flinch,

He always falls apart yet her emotions don’t unravel,

There is an art to abuse and to one’s own mindless self-destruction,

The screaming only fades when her cries turn to whispers and his voice into gravel,

She’ll endure the pain.

Let the blood seep into the tile floor until it forever stains,

He’ll forget reality because she’s by his side,

At war with himself on an everlasting hell of a ride,

She’ll kiss his hands while he judges her behind a distant stare,

Never denying she needs him as her lungs need the air she breathes,

He’ll push her back against a wall as her finger nails, rigid from years of habit,

Tear holes into his arms, scratches sear with pain and he’s just got to have it,

So long as he lives, she’ll be his favorite self-inflicted harm,

A poison of choice, the most beautiful blade, death by her charm,

In all she is there is agonizing bliss,

The insistent trembling of her lips lulling him into an immoral self-righteous kiss,

He’s the white rabbit leading Alice into the unknown,

A prince charming whose smile chills her right down to the bone,

She’s Alice, who’s bright and full of painful curiosity,

Wide eyed and intrigued as she stumbles over roots leading up to skyscraper trees,

He dazzles her with a kindness he knows her life has lacked and just like that she’s reeling,

Pretty eyes close and she’s falling into the black,

Memories swing past her blurring vision,

They merge into streams of light and bring her back,

The bedroom is dark, beside her he sleeps,

His breathing is shallow as a nearly dried puddle,

Eyelashes casting shadows like guilt down his cheeks,

So breath takingly beautiful her tired minds in a muddle,

Masochistic kisses form tear drops that leave salt on her lips,

Awake at last he holds close all he has and whispers ‘Darling forgive me’

Doe eyes fill with tears and she loves him still,

Calloused fingers brush at her soft ivory cheeks and it is here the girl trembles too afraid to speak,

Her b*****d lover has a way of stealing her breath,

Her words,

Her life,

Ways of making her want to die while holding onto life,

Her mouth answers without her brains consent ‘I always have, I always will’

He claims her mouth with force and she is disgusted,

Choking on his kiss like her own defective suicide pill,
