Peasants, Man

Peasants, Man

A Poem by Jesse Lancaster
"

They could do whatever they wanted if they wanted.

"
Little Light, how they yearn
for your shine, translucent savior of
an empty room, searing the night sky,
a scar among the clouds
you whisper demands into the ears
of feeble men, resolute in your desire
determined to f**k over the townspeople
like you decided when they first turned away,
saw you for what you are:

nothing
Just some black distant star.
