Northern Winters.A Poem by Jesse LancasterFeeling wishy-washy and remembering the cold winter back home before this year.
Previous Version This is a previous version of Northern Winters.. I couldn't tell you what I saw or what happened next, I swear I never used to forget or lose track of time like this. As the clock wound down, as the voices called out, tried my best to reason with nature but the snow continued to stack. And as hills started to rise, it began to level the trees, left the whole town deserted, I watched the wildlife flee, while my head burst at the seams. They all wanted a reason, or maybe to somewhere to sleep but I couldn't take the noise so pleaded them leave, leave me to count my losses, another mark on the wall of what could have been, another sap story portraying the best and worst of me.
