One Chance

One Chance

A Poem by Matthew Ryan Hardy
"

You had your chance....

"

The radiance of your stunning complexion

Not a single word in any language can explain it

From the moment I laid my eyes on you

I fell further away from reality

In my heart I really want to make this work

But in my mind I know it could never

Still I want that chance to show you the truth behind my feelings

I will wait for that day to come

Even if it doesn’t come to pass

Remember this……

You had your chance

And you never gave me mine…..

I believe we miss the chances not took than the failures tried. Thank you my friend for sharing the excellent poetry.

Love makes you blind, I now am discovering this odd yet incredible feeling. However, heartbreak is inevitable. Heartbreak is what teaches us the most though. oh and remember, you grow the most when you get your heart broken. Sometimes it is even a blessing in disguise.
