In Control

When I am breaking down
and wanting to give in
The trials of my life
being covered by my sin
I stumble and I fall
but at Your feet I land
And every single tear I've cried
You hold within Your hand
You gently pick me up
and vanquish all my fears
Reminding me, no matter what
You are always near

My God is in control
my life I give to Him to mold
Help me, Lord, to live Your words
people look and think I'm absurd
but that's ok cause they can't see
I'm here for You and not for me.

When people push and test me
hoping that I fall
It seems my prayers going up
are hitting a brick wall
The times I feel discouraged
like nothings working out
And all my work done for You
has lacked without a doubt
When I feel alone
like no one cares for me
I cannot help but realize
the love you give is free

Life I live more boldly
now that I live for You
How can I help but serve
the saving grace I'm through
You offered me a hope
a life no man can give
Of certainty and love
a life I want to live
To tell this world and nation
of all the things you do
And bring my friends and enemies
the loving truth of You!
