Yet Again

You gave a test and I failed
but did I want to pass?
at first it was intriguing
but it went sour fast.
I didn't want to do 
what part of me still did
when posted with the option
my conscience ran and hid
I guess more like I gagged it
and threw it far from me
I threatened it with death
what a monster I can be
I'm sorry my dear Father
I failed you yet again
give me strength and courage
to let My Savior win
Help me see it coming
and flee far  away
Help me seek Your will
and walk it day by day.
