Snatched

Snatched

A Poem by Mavis Bard

Snatched
Taken
Deliberately swindled for a sweet distraction
Hungry for another run
Loosely focused on the crows
Nibbling my flesh
Just watching the damned pass by
As I lay awake with my back to the ground
Where is Faust
Which way is west
