To keep us going

You had yours

Always exacting ourselves to the reciprocal of the other

You were the parasite of my thoughts

Never alone, I stood by you

 

Until you shattered within me

Leaving the pieces there for me to pick up

Without access to you

I lied helpless

 

Until one day

I saw you again 

Inside my mind

In one piece.
