Today

Today

A Poem by Mary
"

awaiting medical test results can be a very scary time....

"

today

worry distracts my mind

controls my heart

smothers my soul

rendering absurd

my Hope of Possibility

today

fear imprisons my Spirit

veils my I Am

eclipses my Light

rendering unthinkable

my Hope of Possibility

tomorrow

I will know

but...

positive or negative

will it

be

enough

ever again

?

Author's Note

Mary
We all like to believe that our sense of who and what we are doesn't depend on outside forces, but sometimes, while awaiting frightening medical test results, fear can and does take over completely, and we may wonder if we will ever be the same...

I live in confuzzled, read my poem about 'Hope' being a four letter word, if your ears can tolerate it. I hope your day after was filled with contentment, there's that word again. I love your choice of words, they all fit so perfectly and flow to towards that 'hope of possibility'. Nice read.

We usually learn the most on the worst days. Too bad it can't be easier eh?

Firstly, let's get things right: ((YOU))

Of course you're scared, love, entitled to be. God willing your fears will be stilled very soon and meantime His arms will hold you. I know you've amazing faith, keep it strong inside you .. but cry and frown and all coz that unleashes things rather than have them knot. up deep inside.

Will message you with a contact address.

thank you so very much! all turned out well, but working on an attitude adjustment
Facing trials is what we as humans do... our personal faith is a strength. A thought-full poem.

Sometimes it's hard to see past this day's confusion...even knowing tomorrow may be brighter...right now I can only see dark at the end of the tunnel...

thanks, Marie
I understand fear .. we all pray for good results, or the strength to accept bad news ..
You are a woman of faith and love .. I am sure you have comforted many .. God will bless you and keep you always .. Until you hear, I'll be praying .. and thinking of you ..

Jazz .. HUGS
