Love Sucks

Love Sucks

A Poem by Nancy

Does one ever know if love is pure?
Or is the mind playing tricks with the emotions?
Thinking with the heart rather than the head
Aren’t feelings ought to come from an undiluted source
How come blood rushes to the head at the sight of an endowed girl?
Entangled nerves that go berserk at the sighting of an Amazon guy
Loss of speech or deep swirling of clod up spittle that refuses to flow
Is what one suffers from without an antidote to reverse the effect
And like a enchanted maiden or master, the feeling skyrocket
To a plane where love is deemed the aphrodisiac
And how hard the fall is once the hypnosis is over
Reeling from the shock that all was a fantasy
The endowed girl has warts the size of a boulder
The Amazon dude has packs the size of two round trailer tires
Does one ever know how to measure love?
Or how many doses should be taken in equal measure
To avoid the pitfalls and be free from
The unbearable weight of guilt that one could be saddled
With waking everyday with the irrepressible loathing
Of the wife or husband sleeping soundly
Without the knowledge that all was a mistake
Caused by the thing below the midsection,
Caused by the fluttering butterflies in the stomach
That died the day the vows were exchanged

Hey! Nicely written and good piece of literary work...it looks awesome as it is...Just that a suggestion and I know that it is just on of them...the start could be a bit more poetic like the rest coming down...But it is flawless anyhow...keep writing...take care...
