time and spilled blood

time and spilled blood

A Poem by winter;lyra

Though you called my name
Do you really know
Who it was that you saw?

Who's at fault
Now
Do not run
See
This is blood
I spill for you
Now
Would you spill for me
The way I spilled for you then
Are the time games confusing?
Perhaps we could blame time then, now
But what about when we didn't have time then
Compared to now that we have time to cry
And
From time to time love a little
Is it hard to follow me?
Will you ever let me walk in this darkness
By myself?
Now see how
We're talking of the future
Neglecting this broken present
And avoiding lessons from the past
See
How you failed to see
I'm running out of blood
It is all on you
Carry all
This guilt
This feel
Of my blood drying on your hands
Yes
Before now becomes another neglected past
And the future becomes a broken present
Don't fake it
Break it
Make it right
Be free from my oddity

And breath
See
It's all easier
