Red Love Locked Eyes

Red Love Locked Eyes

A Poem by winter;lyra

Red love-locked eyes
When do you fly
Away from your disguise

Shining lone rose
What else
Have those eyes seen
(I wonder)
If nothing but his form

I'd hold your hand
And love you to no end
"Just the way you are"
The words you seek

But unfortunately

Blood soaked lisianthus
I laugh and crack
Madly
And ask myself
Whose greed
Bleeds you
To this extent?
For you'd never reply
Voiceless flower
For you'd never allow
Your true petals to fly
Along my breeze

Oh father
Oh lord
Oh god
Oh forces
Please have me done
The fallacy within
Our hearts,
Now cards
Is maddening
