Paradox

Paradox

A Poem by winter;lyra

Heartless
Careless
But she's been an emotional mess neverthless
She's fighting a war against herself
Because selfless she is not
Unless you find her on her soft spot
Or on recess
But soon she is to reacess
And to acquiesce
On sober senses
That she had never been so closer her own self
Love
Could you let go
Could you make it be
Could you be sober but still mine
Could you wash away the consequence and pretend it's fine to live a day without sour rain drops

The skies fly
Upper above our heads
Neither of us
Are willing to stop
But not a surprise
We're both selfish strangers

Each day in remorse
The skies fly away
Leaving behind all but the emptiness I so much long for
If you could see
If you could meet me once it is all over
If you could be a paradox...
