You are not saving me, you are killing me

You are not saving me, you are killing me

A Poem by winter;lyra

Violent waves threat my home
As they crash against my stone
If I roar I grow old
If I contain myself I grow cold
But the voices roar
And they crash some more
Now I am half of what I used to be
Now I kind of hate what I am right now

You are not saving me
You are killing me

I am blind to anything besides me
I am always alone at home
Now suddenly - they all want to get inside
No please leave me alone
I just want to eat some chips and watch TV
Until monday comes
Let me be
Let me see my demons and my sins
See they're true to me

Inside this cove I am the King
I am the queen and I am the prince
I know what to do
I know the truth
I am the seer because I have to be
I think...
