Chaos in Reverse

Don't know how strong I can be,
With my world crashing down around me.
Feel like I've lost before I start.
Feel like I'm broken, like I'm falling apart. 

All the wretchedness of the world's closing in,
It's like the big bang, but not a beginning an end.
With all the chaos, and all of the violence, 
     Like our universe being formed.
It's like my heart right now, but in reverse.

So, take my hand and come with me.
Let's escape this world of pure misery. 
We'll fly off to a distant land,
Where the pain can't reach us... where nothing can.
