Fade

All I've ever wanted
Is a chance to be free
A chance to be loved
And a chance to be me.
It's easy to blame you
And easier to cry
To fade away
While the world passes by
All these mountains
I climb
Over, under and through
It's a steady decline
To my dreams come true
Two steps forward
One step back
The tragic fight is enough
For a soul to crack.
