Caesar

Always So Loveable

Faithful And Kind

Your Whole Body Wiggled

Not just Your Behind

You Never Barked Much

And Nor Did You Bite

When I Came Home Late

You Jumped With Delight

Your Tongue Loved To Lick

You Chased Every Ball

My Caesar, My Joy

My Pal, My All

So Smart, So Quick

And Simple To Teach

Knew Each Toy By Name

And The Colors Of Each

When Your Bones Grew Tired

Unable To Roam

I Knew It Was Time

And God Called You Home

I Choked Up And Cried

When They Took You That Day

But I'll See You Again

And In Heaven We'll Play

A very sad poem. Our animals become part of the family. They give freely their love and always welcome us home. Thank you for sharing this poem.
