All In That Day

All In That Day

A Poem by Magnolia
"

Open for interpretation.

"

While the desperation grows hard,
And those all dreams fade away,
My failure for the impossible has struck.
What have we got to live for now?

To see that face day in and out,
And cry at the partial beauty that fills my eyes,
Is like the spear of a broken heart
But with no heart to pierce at all.

They will not know the joy of my life.
Because they cannot see the truth.
But that truth can kill all souls,
And I will keep that truth for myself.

I like this especially, "Because they cannot see the truth.
But that truth can kill all souls,
And I will keep that truth for myself."
It really sums up well the tricky business that is truth, or the lack of it perhaps?
