one way street

this love is a one way street 

a path that only he will follow

a path i choose to ignore

he tells me he loves me

that he wants me to be happy

but how can we be happy 

while we travel down two different streets?

going down his path would be going down for good

the road would swallow me up and id be lost forever in its grasp

he is going down a one way street

a path that he wants me to follow

but i am me

i am not his to play with

or his to control

i am on my own path now

and it is a one way street

well good. what u write about is true...in this living world we cannot follow two path...as Jesus himself said that " one man cannot serve two man's food" follow ur street and not anyone's.
