We live many lives

We live many lives

A Poem by Meraki
"

You know when you let your mind wander? Yes, well, that's what happened to me.

"
First, we are born
We live
We laugh
We cry
We love
And then... we die

But death is only eternal sleep
To the vessel we've claimed
That walks on two feet
The soul goes on to another world

A life in which we do not need
Physicallities to exist
As the world previous
Has deemed fit

A world of wonder
Pure imagination with connections
So strong
When we are born again
We can still see it

Until we forget we are souls
Strangers commandeering bodies
We learn again, appreciation
Appreciation for simple things
And love for the fragility
Of the world of physicalities

First, we are born
We live
We laugh
We cry
We love
But never die
No, we live many lives
