Her head felt lighter 
As her demons danced around her 
Singing songs of endearment 
And the lights grew fainter 
Now the dark was somehow brighter

Who knows what you were thinking... perhaps the last cogent thought or awareness as she slips from this world to the next. Her demons... real, imagined or both. I wonder if she found comfort in the songs?
