I love,....

I love,....

A Poem by Maria
"

Just came up out of the blue, so wrote it as it came, hope you enjoy.

"
I love to cook
I love to bake
Ironing though, I do not do.
I love to wash
I love to clean
yet my room can be a mess
I love to read
I love to paint
hate when interrupted at times.
I love to swim
I love to hike
just do not make me run.
I love adventure
I love the thrill
Except looking down a hill.
I eat pasta
I eat Pizza
when I do not want to cook.
I can be funny
I can be sweet
My patience though is trying.
I am short
I am me
And there is so much more you see.
I could go on
and on, but what fun
would it be?
I love helping others
and treating everyone with respect,
If you want to know me,
just know that I will always
be myself, no matter what,
cause I aint changing for anything
less anyone.
If you do not like what you see
or if you do that will be up to you,
and I will keep on being my own self
as happy as can be.

*laughing* I hate ALL domestic chores. But I totally relate to both "height" issues: the view from a tall hill and the actual height - I'm 4'11". You are sweet, something no one accuses me of anymore, and don't change. You've made it this far by being who you are...that rhymes! *snort*
This was a nice little bio, I enjoyed it.

Cute & playful & relatable . . . I've read some poems where a writer describes him/herself, but this is one of the more enjoyable becuz of the way you aren't taking yourself too seriously. This doesn't sound like you're up on a podium making a speech about things you're passionate about. This is more like a tapestry or quilt of things that make you human, as an invitation to others to feel OK being human too.

Better to love than to hate. Hang onto something that brings a smile rather than let the black take our vibe. Splendid writing:)

Wow, that must be tiring, but good to know. Well take care, Mr. Coyote, and enjoy your days off.
