And When I Fell Asleep it Plagued My Dreams, And 30 Bits of Glass That Become My Teeth.

And When I Fell Asleep it Plagued My Dreams, And 30 Bits of Glass That Become My Teeth.

A Poem by Meriel Brianne.
"

English Project. It was a lot better when I was writing it in class... But now it just sounds absurd.

"

Her eyes stung with a passion,

Her throat screamed in silent pain.

Her entire body shook with fear,

As the door slowly creaked open.

The door ajar,

The sly, statuesque man sauntered toward,

Bearing no smile.

His antagonistic, dark eyes burned into hers.

She backed up into the cool,

Metal wall,

Her teeth clenched together.

His injurious fists clenched together

As he contemplated her best way,

The best way for her to be oppressed.

As the darkness enveloped all around her,

Her heart began to capsize.

She understood she wouldn't,

Couldn't,

Find a way,

Nor live through this.

She saw his beastly eyes,

His hateful glower,

Then she ponders at what she did wrong,

Hating herself,

Feeling extreme abhorrence toward herself.

Finally, it ended.

No more injuries sustained,

The pain dispersed.
