But She Will Never Know

But She Will Never Know

A Poem by Mes

Her eyes as blue as the sky

Her skin as white as the snow

Without her I can barley get by

But she will never know

When she walks down the hall whistling that tune

Oh how she sings that song of woe

Wishing one day I can hold her under the moon

But she will never know

And even as I spectate at her wedding

Her standing there in a dress beautifully sown

I weep the at the thought of her hitting the bedding

But she will never know

Years later when I am old and grey

I still think about her to this day.
