Tiny Hands

Tiny Hands

A Poem by C Lee
"

Piece of poetry written for an art showing I'm doing at our church.

"

Tiny hands

Hold heaven’s blessings

They know not

The darkness of sin and wrath

Tiny hands

Hold the Earth’s bounty

They know not

The darkness of famine and flood

Tiny hands

Hold onto innocence

They know not

The darkness of worry and despair

Where darkness lies

Knowing not, what is to come

Holding steadfast in their hearts

Are tiny hands

~Luke 12:27~

Consider how the lilies grow.

They do not labor or spin.

Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor,

Was dressed like one of these
