Brainwashed minds,

Violent acts of aggression

Calamity,

Mountains of hatred

Urban war zones,

Blood red skies

Littered with screams,

Faces of horror

 

Seeds of fear,

Gestating within our hearts

Giving birth,

To anger and frustration

Self imploding,

Staring down the barrel

Of destruction,

Self annihilation

 

Society’s stained,

By the blood of ignorance

Manipulated,

By a sea of corruption

Dividing us,

Pitting man against man

Their sole intent,

Of waging war

With words,

Of insanity

 

Like herds of sheep,

Gathering in masses

Pleasing their master,

Ignoring what is right

Gratification,

Of their own needs

The use of race and religion,

To justify their actions

 

What happened to,

Tolerance and civility?

Did intelligence,

Get up, walk out the door?

Standing idle,

While dreams are butchered

Turning a blind eye,

Acting as if nothing’s happening

 

Society’s stained,

Manipulated,

Deaths sting felt by all

Our emotions,

Paralyzed

Thoughts twisted,

From the pain

Voices haunting us,

From the grave

 

Minds of evil,

Manifesting terror

Invading,

Our nightmares

Casualties,

Of our own arrogance

Twisted truths,

To a sick reality
