Thundering Skies

Thundering Skies

A Poem by Joshua Tray
"

I love the rain and respect the power it holds

"
Why do people complain about,
Dislike,
Hate,
Fear,
The rain?
It is something i hold dear,
For it happens only certain times a year.
Thundering skies, a phenomenon i love,
Lightning strikes, 'tis bright above.
Cleansing the air,
Pollution left bare.
The rain is for
Dancing,
Celebrating,
Peace of mind,
Feeling apart,
And together,
At once.
Thundering skies;
Beauty in my eyes.

Author's Note

Joshua Tray
I love thunder storms; in Michigan we have two seasons: snow and summer, the snow being too long and the summer being too dry. I would give anything for longer rain seasons. Or to live in Seattle. Yeah i'll try for the latter.
