Third Impact

Third Impact

A Poem by tequila wolf
"

Not sure why it went where it went but I'm happy with it I think? Main idea behind it is the forgoing of individuality in return for ease of suffering and the human condition.

"

i know you'll learn to love the moon

and for the sun? you'll find color in tune

with the dark, you'll cower the light

you'll say something new as the old makes it bright

as everything rots your mind will be spared

scared of the outcome but steadily prepared

as you glare down the evil the restless the pain

and strike down the devil the careless the name

let go of your ego let go of your sight

let go the placebo that won't let you decide

let go of your home your brother your faith

let go of your sister your wonder your wraith

collapse to the floor and let go of your flesh

the beyond and your soul will be starting to mesh

get lost in the void as your spikes disappear

you're one with the being you're one with your peer

the one thing you feel is the tear on your cheek

you're saddened you're deafened you're helpless you're weak

there's something you've lost but you're already gone

and you'll simply drift till the heat death and dawn
