I miss you.

In the morning,

                When I open my eyes I hope to see yours.

Tossing blankets carelessly aside,

                Wishing you were hiding beneath them.

I lay awake,

                Imagining you beside me.

Longing for the days I will wake next to you.

                Crawling in to an empty bed.

When I cuddle up

                Trying to keep warm.

To nothing but vacant sheets.
