Song of You - Part 5

Song of You - Part 5

A Poem by Michael W. Farrelly

Little sister...
                     ...we can be good...
               ...get along here...
       ...or let it die
       at such a cost.
After romanticisms, mystcisms, criticisms, and cataclisms,
divorce, reverse, crash, burn,
hit, run,
left, right, up, down, straight ahead,
and all fifth dimensional sides we can concieve
take time if you get it
from any others cup;
and in the heat of conflict
say 'love is an illusion',
but,
so is life
and the pain is still real.
You may say 'I love you'
in the heat of the confusion,
but penetrating doesn' make it real.

Your alabaster skin a là carté
surely deserved better rewards
than thieves, and liars, drunks and cowards:
remember
you are now all mine
or am I all yours
or we are all Gods
and not as lost as we believe
in this wild Universe.
