poem story

"

Korah was lurking

about in the woods one after noon.

He went down past the

garden of weeds

and prayed.

He prayed with a sacrifice,

a sacrifice of self.

He spilt his blood into

the river while the

bugs were crawling over him.

After this holy communion

Korah thought it time to go home.

Korah travelled through

the garden of weeds

and into the other part of the woods.

On this other side

there were many snakes

and spiders

that Korah feared.

the snakes were unseen

and only known by their holes.

the spiders seen,

mainly a long silk-legged creepy crawly.

He quickly crossed the small stream

and ended up on the side of Horeb.

Korah escalated the slope

and found himself on

a sturdy tree,

but when he touched it

a sensation shot

through his hand,

and impulse

grabbed it off.

Korah looked where he

had placed his hand

and saw

something.

panic crept it.

He went higher

with roots

that hadn’t

been touched

in many years "

under different circumstances.

He came to a spot

with a large snake hole

that had a spider web

to its left

and a tree carcass

to its right.

He quickly chose to

go back down than

to go that way.

Back down he went to the

same tree

which he grabbed

and felt the same

strange way again.

Down further again"

panic crept in"

slipped and slid down

the slope

but still in control

and upheld all

the leaves covering

the forest bed.

This exposed several

new fears

and showed a

nother spider

of silk.

panic crept in.

Korah hurried out

of the covering leaves

and imagination

thought what

was in his shoes.

Back to the source,

the center

the beginning,

of the stream

at the rocks.

Korah climbed the rocks

and got to a rotting

tree

fallen

and in his way.

Korah got

over

and continued

through the woods.

He was in

the warmer

section of the woods,

near the end.

Korah walked into spider

webs and saw snake holes

all around him.

He was forced to look

at the ground

to find what he

knew was around.

Korah got to the end of

the woods

but as he was leaving

a frog frightened him.

Korah left the woods.

Korah turned around and

looked into the woods,

and then went back in.

While going down

the entrance

Korah slipped

on the mud

and fell

back

and a serpent

crawled out

of his mouth and into a

hole near by.
