Changes

Sometimes I think about the meaning of life 

because glimpses of the meaning 

appear to me in dreams 

and dreams are forever

and dreams are another life.

Dreams are my other life.

Reality is just a belief

and beliefs change.

Never believe someone who promises change

because everything changes.

Change is just natural.

It was not that I had to be fearless

but I'm still learning what fear is,

when to fear and when to let go

because God knows how hard it is

to let go when holding on

is all we humans know in this life

but I'm still changing.

Fear takes change and wraps it up in it's arms so that we cannot see it - all we see is the fear.
Then it puffs itself up like a bloated bird so that it seems larger than it is. Change comes to us though if we will it.
This reminded me of the excellent Ozzy Osbourne song of the same name.

What is change? I often wonder..Do things ever change or do they have pieces of the same thing. This poem reminded me of a song with the following lyrics..

"Shame on me for changing, no no, shame on you for staying the same...
