Deserted

Deserted

A Poem by Michaela3396

I am grabbing the air above me with my bear hands

And the coldness is hurting my skin,

While my feet are sinking in the sands

Oh, a piece of air is touching my chin…

But my hands are now frozen in the air

And my feet are stuck in the ground

You, stranger, grab a chair,

Wait for my dreams to get drowned.

Widely open your eyes

Not to miss a piece,

Of my silvery skin that dies

Soon enough I will finally find the peace.

I feel the ground loosening my tired feet,

While the sky is blowing the cold away.

Just enough to feel the heat,

Leaving me alone, to be a prey.

Who am I waiting for?

In a desolate desert of thoughts,

Why am I searching for more?

If I already lost lots.

Never lose your senses while walking alone

Cause you might never get them back, my dear…

Those are yours to the bone

Even though you might think they are drear.
