My pen bleeds dark

My pen bleeds dark

A Poem by michaelfixer

I used to write of love and loss

now my mind is salad tossed

wrote from my heart at high cost

My blackened muse no longer lost

Obsidian fate is my new home

sitting, scribing all alone

pick my mind clean to the bone

thoughts of death is where I roam

Decapitate,dismember and skin alive

acid drip destruction thrives

drawn and quartered pieces lost

a guillotine... now who's the boss

Strap you down into the rack

stretch your arms... bones they snap

tearing flesh searing pain

finding out this is no game

How do you like me now I ask?

will you run and save your a*s

this is just a costly thrill

moving in...for the kill

Your pen bleeds dark indeed! The tonality of this poem is definitely darker than “Heavy Love.”

Wording such as “blackened muse” and “obsidian face” really bring home this message.

This poem suffocates like a pillow with its darkness.
