.... pondering

.... something lighter for a change

..... ponder no more, about the clock

..... it’s friendly reminder, a tick and a tock 

..... a warm cup of milk, to ease the mind

..... to forward me yonder, to see what I’ll find

..... another day’s past, so it seems

..... quizzically contemplated, by thoughts and by dreams

..... I’ll try my best, to match Her art

..... for this days’ mine, to inspire and outsmart 

..... I struggle and toil, with no chart in mind 

..... aggravation and despair, the only true find 

..... one should know, never to compete

..... with the angel of words, a dolorous defeat
