Ive heard "I love you" so many time i begin to wonder, is love real? or just a word?

Ive heard of love,

Ive seen it spelled

L.

O.

V.

E.

But, ive also see the reaction of people who hear the word

all the

Awwws

And so sweets

and the reaction of people who say it

the blank eyes

the smile of "im good"

the cocky face of being able to make them swoon,

so

ill say this

Love, is just a word

Dont belive it when they say

BElive it when you can sit,

and hang out

and be friends forever.

Even if you claim,

"I love him, what should i do?"

Love is just a word..

I believe in love.. and like the feeling and flow of this.. So many question love when there are soooo many levels and types! Sometimes we believe we have fallen in love with "the one".. so many concentrate on similarities that they do not look for differences to see if long term is possible.. we fall into LUST... that is the word!!! Real love takes many years to develop and you have to be lucky enough to have two really strong believing people fall into each others arms and do everything possible to uphold it! These days.. everything is about change.. jobs.. families living farther apart than in the past.. society is very split apart at the seams.. divorce rates truly are up in times where it is easier to just start over than do the work.. many are working more than ever just to live.. extra stresses everywhere ... unfortuanately marriage is becoming more a thing of the past! All you can do is try to preserve yourself as long as you can.. carefully enter relationships and hope you get the same in return.. I should be done with relationships as I have given 150% over and over.. I will never lose hope of meeting my one!!! Thank you for sharing.. I hope you find that special person one day and happiness!!! =)

Ohhh- so so true.
Love has become nothing but a word.
Certainly, there is bound to be people in this world who truly mean it, but with climbing divorce rates it is obvious that the words "I Love You" no longer held the power they once had.
