My Bouquet

My Bouquet

A Poem by Mike Emil

By Mike Emil

My turnips still grow

Wait!

I didn’t plant any

My radishes, they grow

Despite themselves

In plant pots

And my Christmas cactuses

They

They are transplanted

Lithe bits of them

Snips

Then there was something else

Lilith didn’t bite anything

I didn’t give her time

What about my garden?

Hey!

Don’t trip over my planters

Have some respect!
