Trouble

Trouble

A Poem by Kingsley M. U. Obike
"

A verse about a struggle with one's frailties coming to life triggered by the most serious of mistakes.

"

Silence, ominous silence

Feeling, sinister feeling;

Stillness, uncomfortable stillness;

Reeling, unwanted reeling.

Danger, inevitable danger;

Despair, hopeless despair;

Walls, broken walls

Repair, beyond repair.

Discomfort, bitter discomfort;

Vacuum, endless vacuum;

Peace, deniable peace;

Sanctum, lost sanctum.

Thoughts, muddled thoughts;

Heart, anxious heart;

Words, speechless words;

Start, terrifying start.

Decisions, hard decisions;

Double, problems double;

Dilemmas, eternal dilemmas;

Trouble, incessant trouble.
