The Sun

His eyes of midnight blue

widen in surprise

as the sky changed its hue

he saw the sun rise

 

Oh beautiful star

reflecting on the seas

Sapphires they are

contrasting emerald trees

 

Sphere of flame

whe you say good night

Moon, the dame

Shows up in sight
