Relit

Relit

A Poem by Millie
"

"

Arm to arm,

 You were laying next me

Too close for eyes to meet

Too far for hands to touch

Deep breath, chest pumps

Loss of breath, the warmth of yours

Cold shivers

Warm touch

I know this all too well

Tears run

Conflicted emotions

Run deep

A feeling faded

A feeling known all too well

Relit a disaster

Relit a love

 Relit a hatred

No longer do I want to feel this way

Reaching this point is so important for true change to occur and for a new path to be chosen with new results to be seen. Good read about reaching the end and choosing another way instead.
