Not one word

Not one word

A Poem by Millie

We don't even speak,
Not one word
But so many things are said
That cold shameful look,
As you walk on by me
That beauty over taken by spiteful actions
Those eyes darkened along with that treasured smile.

If I could live another day,
Write the words said
Replace the actions made,
I would
But disaster is inevitable
It was coming for us
Coming for me
Coming for you . . .
