Black Sheep

Black Sheep

A Poem by Griffin
"

True Story

"
Black Sheep in the fields of your home where you aren't welcome
Alone in your room with the door shut, crying
Why? You can't figure the reason because you've succumb
To the screaming from the living room, still hiding
You can feel the bellowing boom of his yells
As they drown out hers and you can tell
Your shepards are now all broken apart, your brother
In his room, your parents down stairs, together
Under one roof where the measure of rage is so high
It breaks down the ceiling and reaches far into the sky
As it hits the moon the shouts can still be heard
And you wish for it to stop, praying however absurd
You know it never will but begging still
You wish to a god who isn't there for you to fill
The void a shattered picturesque home left open
By the one's you wanted to- powerful silence broken again
As there's more screaming over screaming, a glass crashing
Shattering the unending painful monotony of angered lashing
Your mother is storming up the stairs, bursts into your room
The water-logged look upon her face and the alcohol stench
Fill the bedroom the only place where you felt safe
Anymore but now you're a body adrift at sea you waif
"Look at what your father did now!" that blonde b***h mutters
She must mean the well deserved drink in her face from her angered
Spouse of 17 years, that fat load tripping up the stairs behind
As she goes into our brother's room and you're left to your mind
Black sheep ignored again the fields of your bedroom
You're shepards are here to guide you to bloom
into the blossoming young adult you thought you'd be
But now you're just the second apple falling from a drunken tree
Soon you'll just be a name under an epitaph
On a stone on a hill to commemorate a family's gaffe
Because your world is a mistake and for f**k's sake
Get out while you still can before they're attending your wake

I really like this, I can't help say I can't relate.
My honest opinion is that there are grammer errors and such, but I just feel as if poetry is poetry and its fine as it is...it makes it unique.
Either way, sorry if I didn't help much. Nice write.
