Human architectureA Poem by MioneA poem written in a foul mood after an argument.
With great cleft can one crack the ribs,
And remove the heart that beats no more To force the air and compress the hollow sobs, That trip down the throat and crash at the bottom. A thought that circles, again and again, Dipping under the waves, lurking yet. The drip from a cavity so thick and swollen, No breath will pass this way nor that. Tremors grip the bones that were once still, And haunt the ache that bears you ill Feel the body that cries against such tragedy, Envelope the full cup it passes you Sip. Dull the stab and cuts, Disappear the faint touches. It's from the cold stone floor we lay the foundations and build once more. © 2020 Mione |
