Hunger

Hunger

A Poem by MiriamMB
"

Loss reclaimation

"

I’m lying here cupped inside you

Because I’m hungry

I’m empty and I want to be full of you

Your smell like new cupboard,

Warmth like the last

Sparks of a sooth filled

Fireplace

You’ve left me a never ending yawn

Mouth ajar like a doorway

It is your duty to feed me

It is your duty to nurture

What you left

Unholy.
