Cocoon

Cocoon

A Poem by MiriamMB
"

Two humans choosing to be with one another; taking care of each other. We learn to be each other's warm place. We learn to nurse wounds and promise better days through kisses. Had to write about it!

"

I’m sliding in between the walls of your laughter

you strain and groan and stretch to welcome me home

I curl myself around the wide expanse of your heart

and we lie there, you wide and yawning like a warm heart of palm

me, like something maimed and in repair.
