Omnipresent Love

Omnipresent Love

A Poem by Misanthea
"

Everywhere

"
Lids covering shimmering jewels
Treasures
Protected from the filthy and the undeserving
Humans
Yet I searched far and wide for this warmth
Chased
At college, at work, at your coffin
Omnipresent
Every day, every hour, every minute
Obsessed
Until I was spotted: Mystery solved
Unraveled
So the beautiful things in life began to fade
Escape
Into places protected with walls and glasses
Sanctums
However, I long for that phantasmal shape
Ribs
I long for the flowing dark thoughts
Bangs
I long for the drops of poison
Emeralds
I long for the half moon
Pearls
Enough to have come all this way
Irrupt
Where all these valuables rest
Slumber
Taking all of my chances
Desperate
Feast, ravage in them, delight in them
Surprise
And this time there will be no servants
Alone
This time there will be no running away
Locked
And for when i am done, it will be too late
Wither
So what is going to be?
Morbid
For I sit next to this bed, thinking
Waiting
Choosing
Pills
Poison
Syringe
Pillow
Bag
Knife
Bat
Saw
Gasoline
Bathtub
Dinner
So that the obsession is forever gone
Love
And that I might not take long to follow it.
