Where are you going?

Where are you going?

A Poem by Sally.
"

Poem.

"
Her parents would fake a smile,
Hide all their fights,
Tell their kids its alright.
They didn't know,
Their kids knew everything.
They knew about the fights, they heard the silent crying.
The youngest one,
Took her fathers wrist, looked up at him,
Tears rolling down her cheeks.
He pulled away and left.
They grew up going back and forth between their parents,
Hiding all of their pain.
The kids lost their relationship between each other.
All went their separate ways,
Growing up so fast.
The youngest, took her fathers wrist one more time.
" Why aren't you and mommy together?" Her soft voice asked.
" Well, mommy and I aren't meant for each other anymore"
Those words never left her mind.
They are all grown up now.
Beautiful, smart, brave.
But the youngest couldn't hold the question back anymore.
She looked at her father, her green eyes starting to water.
" Where are you going"
Her father finally rested his hand on her cheek, He whispered, his eyes starting to water.
" No where."
