Tyler

Tyler

A Poem by Sally.

You say my eyes glisten like the stars in the night sky,
You say I have a body of a goddess,
You say I'm perfect,
And that you've been trying to find my imperfections,
But to you, I have no imperfections.
The scars on my body don't seem to change your love for me.
May I ask why?
You always like to explain to me,
How beautiful I really am.
You say that you will always love me,
And you will fight this cancer you are dealing with.
But, what about me?
If I could, I would take away your pain.
You say that my kiss gives you power,
Are you sure about that?
I feel like whenever I kiss you,
I'm taking your power,
Which makes you weak.
My dear Tyler,
Sweet sweet darling.
I Promise, You will wake up every single morning..
