An Immaculate Trinity

An Immaculate Trinity

A Poem by Monique
"

Love poen about polyamory

"
On a Friday, i discovered the very nature of true love
juxtaposed against a betrayal we did not dare speak of
With stars in my eyes, I listened to your voice transform
Hardly believing that I no longer felt.forlorn
You traced infinity signs into my skin
Claiming what had always been yours again and again

Will you run with me, I asked, breathless from the fight
You nodded your assent and my life took.flight
Bound to you, mind, body, spirit, and soul
Your presence defeats the darkness, rendering me whole

Another Friday and I discovered the plurality of our love
Juxtaposed against a betrayal undreamt of
We three, your words returned to me unbidden
And the spark between you two could not be ignored nor hidden

Two strands, now three, a stronger infinity
Woven together with puzzle pieces, clothed in Destiny
The future may be uncertain, but this I believe
These three wandering souls were made to cleave

Awakened to Light, bound in Love, we forge a path on the road less traveled
Hearts knotted in pain slowly unraveled.
Giving in to this perfection, an immaculate trinity.
An everlasting love, our utopian eternity.
