Neurotica

Neurotica

A Poem by Miss B Gotten

there is a forgotten space
where wanderlust hands have abandoned
and time is frozen in collision
with memories seeking context-

aftershocks of your breath
echo across barren shoulders
exhaling phantoms of jubilant whispers
that leave goose-bump headstones in their wake

I secretly savor
the imprint of your nape nip
from staking your claim
to my surrender, so long ago

now we just mime the motions
of the emotionless
letting mechanics maintain course
for the sake of monogamous marionettes

I want to be made whole
not just filled
Venus wept

I knew a broken typewriter that looked a lot like you. I would spend my lifetime rearranging and decoding the dictionary for the correct linguistic combination in hopes that you'd see how I see and fe.. more..
